21 Days of Fasting & Prayer
As we turn the corner into 2021, we remember all that God has done this past year. We know that He has called us to be a dependent and devoted people and we want to cultivate that attitude deep into our hearts as we begin this new year.
Beginning January 3, we will begin 21 days of fasting and prayer as a church (ending with a celebration dinner on January 24th). The intention of this time is to cry out to God and ask Him to move in our midst, that we might enjoy Him more as a church as well as individually. Our prayer is that we might grow together. That we might live on mission. That we might see God move in such a way that every person in San Marcos and every student at Texas State has multiple opportunities to hear and respond to the gospel.
We will have a Celebration Dinner on January 24th!
THINGS TO NOTE
- Take advantage of our Daily Prayer Guide the three weeks and we would ask that you commit to this time of fasting and prayer that we might have a deeper experience of God within our church.
- Join us for a daily Prayer Call at 6am for each of the 21 Days
- If this would be your first time fasting, here is a great, brief resource on the “what” and “why” of fasting . If abstaining from food seems like too big of a step for now, consider something that would be sacrificial to give up for 21 days.
